Pisa Mover is the shuttle (15 min) that connects the airport to Pisa train station. From here you can get to Lucca by train 25 min).

To get to Lucca consider the following times:

  • Train: 60 min to, at Lucca station.
  • Taxi: 30 min, downtown
  • Rental car: about 1h 15 min in historic center

Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR)

Distant 66 km. Car rentals are about 2 km away.

To get to Lucca, except cabs, take the superficial metro (20 min) that goes to the center, get off at the station, and from there take the train to Lucca (1h 35 min).

To get to Lucca consider the following times:

  • Train: about 2h, to Lucca station.
  • Taxi: 50 min, in historic center
  • Rental car: about 1h 30 min, in historic center

Westward

With the Lucca – Viareggio line or with the Lucca – Pisa line (20-30 min).

Eastward

With the Lucca – Florence line (1h 40 min). Unfortunately Slow.

From here you can go:

  • Northward (Bologna, Milan, Venice…)
  • Southward (Rome , Naples…)
